Background Check Approved List

WJAA uses the same disqualifying criteria that Ohio School Boards are required to use under the Ohio Revised Code found HERE. In addition WJAA may reserve the right to prohibit any individual from volunteering in youth programs, if at any time the WJAA Board, in its opinion, deems the individual unfit to work with minors. The background checks are good for 3 years from time of approval. If the board is made aware any individual is charged and convicted of a disqualifying crime after having previously passed a background check, the initial background check is null and void and that person will be prohibited from coaching until another background check is passed.
